THE HOLIDAY BOOKSTALL … will be in church throughout June and up to and including the weekend of the Village Fair.  What a wonderful opportunity we are offering to de-clutter your bookshelves and cupboards and bring any books you have read, or will never get round to reading, to have a new life by stocking the stall, finding new owners and helping St. John’s to raise much-needed funds.   We need more books – and these can be brought to the church any weekday morning or on Sundays when the church is open.  Be sure to come and browse our wide-ranging collection so far – maybe your favourite author, titles you’ve heard of but never read, or something completely different might tempt you for just a small cost!

DO YOU LIKE RUNNING?   A new group has started meeting every Saturday morning at Bradmore Green Pond 8.45am warm up for 9am start of an approx 6K flat run over good ground - about half an hour.  Please just turn up

IT’S PRAM SERVICE ON TUESDAY!   We look forward to welcoming all babies, toddlers, preschoolers and their mums, dads, grannies, grandpas and other carers to our next Pram Service – a short time full of fun and praise, action songs, interactive story, activity & birthday celebrations - this Tuesday, 19th June at 9.45 for 10.00 a.m. start in the Church.   And we hope you’ll stay for tea/coffee/squash/biscuits while we chat and play afterwards.

CREAM TEAS COMING SOON … but not without lots of help!   On Sat. 7th July, the day of the Old Coulsdon Village Fair, we will again be serving cream teas in the church during the afternoon.  But to do this we need lots of donations of goodies and help.  There are lists on the Information Desk at the back of the church on which you can offer homemade cakes and scones, milk, jam, etc., etc.  We’ll also be needing people to spend an hour or so making tea/coffee or washing up.  Perhaps you could spare some time to help with this?  We have a good reputation for our delicious teas to keep up – so hope you can help us in some way to provide a warm welcome.
