ALPHA

Would you like to know more about Christianity?

It does not matter why you want to know more. You do not even have to be a Christian. If you want to learn, join an Alpha course.

Anyone can come.
Learning and laughter: we intend to have fun while we learn some serious things.
"Pasta and pudding", or in this case supper. Eating a meal together gives an opportunity to get to know each other.
Helping one another. The small groups give a chance to talk over issues raised in the talks.
Ask anything. Alpha is a place where no question is regarded as to simple or too hostile.

An Alpha course is a series of a dozen evening meetings and one Saturday for people who want to know more about Christianity. Each meeting begins with a supper at 7.30 p.m. After the meal we watch a DVD in which a speaker tackles a question central to the Christian faith. Then, in small groups, you can discuss the issues raised plus any other questions you have.
